HISTORY OF SPORT SANDA

SPORT SANDA:Ring Sport with the Takedown,Modern Combat Sport,Self-Defense System.
Sport Sanda started from Sweden.
Founded by Mr.Nobakht Ahad
Amateur SPORT SANDA & Amateur S-1 is in two system Light contact - Full Contact
Allows kicks, punches,takedown,knees,and throws.
It combines Light Contact & Full-contact which includes close range and rapid successive punches and kicks,with wrestling,takedowns,throws,sweeps,kick catches,and knee strikes.


SPORT SANDA Free Fighting,SPORT SANDA appears much like Muay Thai or Kickboxing, but includes many more grappling techniques.SPORT SANDA represents the modern and New Ring Sports Many of Martial Art schools teach or work within the rule sets of SPORT SANDA,
working to incorporate the movements, characteristics,and theory of their style.
For safety reasons, some techniques from the self-defense form such as elbow strikes, chokes, and joint locks, are not allowed during tournaments. Senior competitors can win by knockout or points which are earned by landing strikes to the body or head, throwing an opponent.Fighters are only allowed to clinch for a few seconds. If the clinch is not broken by the fighters, and if neither succeeds in throwing his opponent within the time limit, the referee will break the clinch. SANDA competitions are held either in Boxing or Muay Thai rings.
Amateur S-1 & SPORT SANDA is in two system Light contact - Full Contact
allows kicks, punches,takedown,knees,and throws.

Professional SPORT SANDA or S-1 allows knee as well as kicking, punching and throwing. SANDA competition startet much puplar sens S-1 system started in Sweden and World,called the S-1,
is held in a ring similar to a Muay Thai or Boxing.
As professionals, they wear no protective gear except for gloves,cup,and mouthpiece.

SPORT SANDA fighters have participated in fighting tournaments such as Muay Thai and Kickboxing & MMA.They have had grate degree of success,especially in Muay Thai competitions, which is more similar to SANDA.Due to the rules of Kickboxing competition.
With the help of great marketing with INTERNATIONAL SANDA FEDERATION and S-1 since 2005 has become more intersting for various organizations around the world.


AMATEUR SPORT SANDA

SANDA Light Contact JUNIOR AMATEUR RULES
JUNIOR :Fighters between the ages of 10 and 17 years old.

SANDA Full Contact SENIOR AMATEUR RULES
SENIOR: Fighters ages is from 18 years old.

PROFESSIONAL SPORT SANDA S-1 SANDA No.1

Pro SANDA S-1 Bouts are 5 rounds and are allowed to be either 2 or 3 minutes in length,
If 3 minute rounds, rest periods may be up to 2 minutes long between rounds.

Who can compete in S-1

All winners from Amature Sport Sanda and members of International Sanda Federation.
Become candidates for S-1.

National S-1 Intercontinental and World Title bouts are 5 Rounds with 1 minute rest periods between rounds.
