Our match schedule in the World Cup has been announced

Following a successful play-off campaign, the national excitement continues as our National Football Team prepares for the FIFA 2026 World Cup. Having secured its place after a challenging qualification stage, our team will compete in Group D, facing the United States, Paraguay, and Australia.

The official match schedule for the group stage has now been confirmed. According to the announcement made by the tournament committee, our team will open its World Cup journey with a high-profile fixture against the United States, followed by crucial matches with Paraguay and Australia. The dates, venues and kick-off times have been finalised, allowing supporters to begin planning their World Cup calendar.

Football analysts have already begun evaluating Group D, describing it as “balanced but demanding”. The United States are known for their physical and fast-paced football, Paraguay bring strong defensive organisation, while Australia’s competitive spirit and pressing game pose significant tactical challenges.

Coaching staff emphasised that the priority will be maintaining strong team cohesion, especially during the early stages of the tournament. Preparatory training camps, friendly fixtures and tactical sessions are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

With anticipation steadily rising, supporters at home and abroad are watching closely, as national hopes are now fully focused on this historic World Cup campaign. The countdown begins — and the journey to 2026 has officially taken shape.
