ANKARA – Labour and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that the minimum wage for 2026 will increase by 27 percent, in line with the decision of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission.
According to information provided by Minister Işıkhan, the new minimum wage has been set at a gross amount of 33,030 TL and a net amount of 28,075 TL. The new figures will come into effect on 1 January 2026.
Işıkhan stated that the minimum wage increase was determined as a result of discussions with social partners aimed at protecting the welfare of workers.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the minimum wage support provided to employers has also been increased. Accordingly, employer support will be increased by 25 per cent and applied at 1,250 TL.
