Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that contact had been lost with the
business jet that had taken off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport bound for Tripoli, carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad. Minister Yerlikaya stated the following in his announcement on NSosyal:
‘At 20:10 this evening, contact was lost with the Falcon 50 business jet, tail number 9H-DFJ, which took off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport bound for Tripoli at 20:52. An emergency landing was reported from the aircraft near Haymana, but contact with the aircraft could not be re-established afterwards.’ The wreckage of the aircraft has been located
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that the wreckage of the aircraft was located 2 kilometres south of Kesikkavak Village in Haymana district.
Minister Yerlikaya stated the following:
‘The wreckage of the aircraft, which took off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport bound for Tripoli, has been located 2 kilometres south of Kesikkavak Village in Haymana district by our gendarmerie. The public will be kept informed of developments.’
