The purpose of the organization which was created in the year of 2000 in Ankara is to achieve psychological, social and communal rehabilitation for the the people who are working or being worked in the streets, thrown away by their parents, and campaign against all the factors that could cause segregation and gain their social, economical and social needs. Motivatio and EVS Experience Supporting Association for the Individuals in Difficult Condition (Güç Koşullardaki Bireyleri Destekleme Derneği) organization has been performing the European Voluntary Service since 2005. Until this day, our organzation brought many volunteers to our country and done works with them in their projects. These countries are programme countries or neighbour countries and almost volunteers from every country has taken part in the activities of Supporting Association for the Individuals in Difficult Condition . Almost everyone of these volunteers goes back to their countries with happy and many beautiful memories. Also, after they leave we keep in contact with them and when they visit our country again they could use their old house (the house that was used during the EVS) as guests if it is not being used at that moment. Volunteers came to our country from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Polland, Hungary, Ukraine, Portugal, Czech Republic, Macedonia and Belgium. We have full equipped houses for those who stays in Ankara. There is unlimited internet, kitchen equipment for them to make food and also payment is given for the volunteers who do not want to cook. Their moneys for them to shop as they wish are given to them. The volunteers who joins the activities in Supporting Association for the Individuals in Difficult Condition ( on their activity days) has the chance to eat lunch and also contacts are done for them to provide lunch in the places that they go to and many positive responses were given. Besides these there is tv and internet in the houses. The houses are near to the families' residence and the transportation is easy. The volunteers are sent to Turkish course for three months and they could get a language certificate from this institution. Also chances are given to them to join the projects with their own ideas. Creativitiy and newness are held as the primary aims. Besides the projects, cultural trips are organized to different places of Turkey for volunteers. Also, oriantation trips are organized for volunteers for them to learn Ankara. The necessary environment are created for the volunteers to learn a different culture, language and people. The mobile of the mentors are open 24 hours for the volunteers for them to reach and solve the problems they might have. Since the projects are social services based projects, they have the chance to develop themselves in these areas. Within boundaries of this project, the volunteers can provide service in projects according to their own interest and capabilities. This is believed to have a positive effect on the volunteer's personal development. Project environment: The host organization "Supporting Association for the Individuals in Difficult Condition is an organization" is founded in Ankara. With the members such as social services experts, psychologists, nurses, the organization helps the people in difficult condition and supports these individuals to have equal rights and functionality. One of the main purposes of this organization is to support the similar organizations in local areas besides supporting the other organizations or institutions under the Ministry of Family and Social Policies. Also arrangements are made with the Hospitals in Ankara to provide help for the young people and children who are staying in the hospital. By doing coordinative work with these organizations and institutions, this organization provides services to other individuals that have other difficulties. The circumstances that these individuals are in effect theirfunctionalities and healty personality developments in society. Part of the individuals that this organization works on are homeless people and the children living in the streets. This Association supports the people who are staying or making a use of the organizations or institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies with shelter, psycho-social, educational and similar other things. Some of the individuals working in long-term or short periods remain as a boarding within the organization. Besides these, the hosting organization gives supporting activities to other institutions and organizations and gives support to various social services affiliated projects. The main purpose of these activities for children, young people and their families is to complete the social deficiencies, improve social cohesion and make them remain in education by using social and sport activities. In order to specify the sport activities for these purposes; Capoera, Muay Thai, swimming in open-close swimming pools, activities in the gymnasiums and open spaces. In this case, the organization provides every alternative for young people, children and their families who are in difficult situation to do sports. In these terms, besides Capoeria, Muay Thaii the organization gives these individuals support to make them succeed in other sports such as athletics, basketball, football etc. The main aim here is to give more support for these individuals to use the sport opportunities. In these areas, the children which the organization supported has national or worldwide medals. In the last world championship organized in Azerbaijan, they won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals and became the third in the world as a team.
